The “Taiwan Accelerator Plus” (hereinafter referred to as “TAcc+”) originates from Taiwan-based startups that the Small and Medium Enterprise Administration, Ministry of Economic Affairs (hereinafter referred to as the “Administration”) uses its best efforts to incubate, foster and guide to benefit Taiwan’s competitiveness and help Taiwan stand on the international stage, for the purpose of constructing the “TAcc+ Website” (hereinafter referred to as the “Website”) as a network information platform dedicated to executing the TAcc+ projects. Before enrolment into the TAcc+, please complete the membership registration as the Website member (hereinafter referred to as the “Member”) and comply with the following requirements:

Membership: Any domestic/foreign proprietorship, partnership and company incorporated or registered under the Company Act of Taiwan are allowed to apply for membership under the TAcc+ in order to facilitate startups to seek the opportunities for fund raising and market cooperation domestically or overseas. The applicant shall complete the membership registration on the Website, and may be recognized as a member of TAcc+ upon passing the qualification review.

Member’s rights: To share the TAcc+ startup grants and seek the opportunities for fund raising and market cooperation domestically or overseas.

Member’s obligation:

1. Apply for grants per the timing, manner and contents required by the TAcc+.
2. The Member shall voluntarily guarantee that the information provided is correct and licensed, free from any false statement or infringement upon a third party’s intellectual property right or other rights. The TAcc+ will not check or confirm said information provided by the Member in any form. The Member shall bear legal liability independently, in the event of any dispute arising from infringement upon another person’s rights.
3. The Website may disclose to any organizer and co-organizer related to the TAcc+ the information provided by the Member for the evaluation on grants.
4. Agree to accept the caring follow-up mechanism on the Website, including but not limited to, completion of any satisfaction questionnaire, and notify the TAcc+ of any change in the contact person voluntarily to protect the Member’s own interest and right.
5. Upon receipt of approval of the application for grants, the Member shall execute and enforce the contract per the requirements of TAcc+.

Supplementary Provisions

1. Where the Member violates the provisions or any other laws and regulations of the R.O.C. materially, the TAcc+ may suspend the Member’s right and obligation as stated above.
2. For any matters not covered herein, the Website reserves the right to amend and terminate the Terms and Conditions.

In order to collect, process, and use your personal information which you have provided or will provide (hereinafter referred to as “the Personal Information”), based on the reason that the Industrial Technology Research Institute (hereinafter referred to as the “ITRI”) succeeds to the Website constructed based on the “Taiwan Accelerator Plus” (“TAcc+) of the Small and Medium Enterprise Administration, Ministry of Economic Affairs, ITRI would like to inform you about the following matters:

1. Purposes for collection: 040 Marketing (including co-marketing businesses with financial holding companies); 069 Contract, Quasi-contract or other legal relevant affairs; 090 Consumer and Customer Management and Service; 109 Education or Training Management; 110 Industry-Academy cooperation Management; 136 Information and Database Administration; 137 Information Communication Security Businesses and Management; 157 Surveys, Statistics, and Research and Analysis; 181 Other Corporation Registered-Items.
2. Classification of the Personal Information: C001 Type for identifying individuals (e.g. Name, job title, Tel. No., mobile phone No. and email address, etc.); C061 Current state of employment; C062 Employment process; C064 Employment experiences; C002 Type for identifying finance; C003 Type for identifying in government data; C011 Individual description; C038 Occupation.
3. Time period of the use of the Personal Information: until the purposes for collecting the information no longer exists.
4. Areas of use of the Personal Information: The territory of the ROC and ITRI’s overseas locations and offices.
5. Users of the Personal Information: ITRI as well as government agencies and non-government agencies that have or will have business relations with ITRI.
6. Way of the use of the Personal Information: Under the condition that there is no excess of the scope of the purposes for which the Personal Information was collected, the Personal Information may be used on the Internet, in e-mail, in documents, in facsimiles, and in other lawful ways.
7. You may exercise the following rights by raising written request(s), and please contact via support@taccplus.com:
   • （1）any inquiry and request for a review of the Personal Information;
   • （2）any request to make duplications of the Personal Information;
   • （3）any request to supplement or correct the Personal Information;
   • （4）any request to discontinue collection, processing or use of the Personal Information; and
   • （5）any request to delete the Personal Information.
8. Effect posed on the interest and right for failure to provide correct personal data: You may choose to provide the personal data at your sole discretion, and shall verify the accuracy of the data voluntarily. Where you fail to provide the correct personal data, ITRI may not be able to offer a complete range of service(s) to you, and may also not be able to protect your lawful rights.
9. ITRI will keep your Personal Information confidential and in proper custody in accordance with the relevant laws and regulations of the ROC.
